Mindful Yoga classes in Bristol

My Mindful Yoga classes usually take place in Bristol and are suitable for people of all ages and abilities as I adapt the poses to suit each body to ensure that the integrity of the pose remains and each individual gets what they need to out of the pose.  

 

Currently all classes are being run online via Zoom due to COVID19 restrictions.

 

I teach using the mindfulness techniques of focusing on the breath and connecting the mind into the body.  All my classes follow the school term dates so I don't teach during the holidays and half term breaks.  

The Summer Term runs from the 23rd April till the 10th July with no sessions during the week of 25th May 2020.

Mindful Yoga 4 All Evening Class

Mondays 6 - 7pm

£30 for a six week block.

£6 per Drop In Class.

 

Women's Yoga Class

 

Tuesdays 11.15-12.15am 

Usually:  at St Werburghs Community Centre, Horley Road, St Werburghs, Bristol BS2 9TJ

Term time only

 

Cost:

£30 for a six week block.

£6 per Drop in Class.

These gentle yoga sessions are designed for women of all ages and abilities. They are for mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters and aunties to come together from all backgrounds and practice some gentle, mindful movement together in a safe and held space.

 

We will practice yoga poses, breathing and relaxation exercises to stimulate, inspire as well as relax your mind and body.  The aim of the sessions is to allow women to practice together, exploring new ways of moving, discovering how to connect with the breath and finding space and freedom from within the joints of the body, therefore feeling healthier, lighter, more spacious and at ease.
 

Mindful Yoga 4 All Class

Thursdays 9.30-10.45 am

Usually:  at the Wild Goose Space in St Werburghs Bristol.

Term Time only.

Cost: 

The cost is £88 for the 11 week term or £48 for a 6 week block.

 

You can come along to try a session before you decide and the cost then is £10 per session. 

 

This is a lovely venue nestled in the heart of St Werburghs, just round the corner from the Farm Pub and Cafe, as you enter the self build Yard.  It has underfloor heating and is very naturally lit.

 

Family Yoga & Mindfulness Class

 

Thursdays for Family Yoga

Usually:  at The Wild Goose Space, 228 Mina Road, St Werburghs.

Currently:  Suspended due to the COVID 19 restrictions.  

Please get in touch to enquire once the lockdown restrictions are lifted

Term time only

Cost:

£36 for a 6 week block per parent/child pair

Siblings: additional £18 per each extra sibling.

£7 per Drop In Class.

 

Come along to these gentle and fun yoga sessions, which are designed for parents and children to do together. They are aimed at children aged 2-12 years and suit all needs, interests and abilities.

 

Through storytelling, puppetry and games, you and your child will be taken on a variety of adventures that incorporate yoga poses, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques to help stretch bodies and imaginations!

 

The classes will stimulate, inspire and motivate both you and your child, helping your child to take part, have fun, gain confidence and have a go … while giving space for child and parent to share and bond together.  There is a bit of time at the end of the class for tea and a chat in the café.

Restorative Yoga Class

I also run small intimate/restorative classes at my home. 

If you have a couple of friends who would like to practice together, please get in touch. 

I also run 1:1 Yoga Therapy Sessions at my house looking at specific needs/issues related to the body, stress, emotions etc.
